La ILS di Nottingham sorge in una zona tranquilla e imersa nel verde, a pochi passi dal centro della citta. l'edificio è moderno, accogliente e spazioso, dotato di aule luminose e confortevoli. Gli studenti possono usufruire di una sala studio, sala computer con libero accesso Internet e libero accesso alle risorse di studio. A disposizione degli studenti inoltre un'area comune con erogatori di bibite o snack e una piccola cucina per prepararsi tè o caffè. La scuola è accreditata dal British Council, ed è membro di English UK e di Helsa, due tra le associazioni più prestigiose delle scuole di lingua in UK.

Ad est giace la tranquilla Valle di Belvoir e ad ovest le colline di Peak District, a nord si estende la celebre Foresta di Sherwood, teatro delle saghe leggendarie di Robin Hood, l'eroe famoso che rubava
ai ricchi per dare ai poveri e che viene ricordato ogni anno, in ottobre, nei tornei e nelle giostre medievali del Robin Hood Pageant.
Nottingham vive ancor oggi sospesa tra storia e innovazione ed i suoi palazzi, l'architettura, il contesto socio-culturale testimoniano di un connubio molto stretto.
Il suo Castello, un tempo magnifico maniero per re e regine, è oggi un'elegante magione secentesca con un museo ed una galleria bellissimi. Wollaton Hall, una maestosa dimora in stile elisabettiano, con un vastissimo parco, è un altro dei tesori che racchiude la città, com'è anche Newstead Abbey, la casa natale di Lord Byron.
Il quartiere di Lace Market, appena restaurato, fu un tempo la sede di un'attiva industria del merletto e ora è il vero cuore culturale cittadino. Nottingham ferve di vita, grazie alla sua 
commistione unica di negozi, bar, ristoranti, teatri e gallerie d'arte.
Il Theatre Royal, tradizionale teatro in stile vittoriano, mette in scena spettacoli classici, mentre il Nottingham Playhouse è un teatro moderno che propone i musical del West End. L'Angel Row Gallery è celebre per l'allestimento di mostre d'arte contemporanea straordinarie, dove figurano anche le sculture di Anish Kapoor. In agosto poi, si tiene il Festival della Danza che presenta il meglio del balletto nazionale.
Come arrivare a Nottingham l'aeroporto più comodo e' East Midlands Airport l con treni e pulman diretti per Nottingham.

This course aims to:
- provide up-to-date practical ideas for real-life classroom use

Methodology See Programme of Training Activities for Course Content
ILS English employs the communicative approach to teaching methodology. The aim of this approach is to maximise the amount of trainee participation in real-life tasks and activities using the target language as a basis for communication. At the start of our courses, our trainers state what the learning objectives are for the students, and to make them aware of the kinds of activities and techniques that will be employed to help them develop their language skills.
Trainees are exposed to a wide range of teaching methods, classroom techniques, skills and management. Time is allocated for discussion, feedback and the sharing of ideas and trainees are given the opportunity to apply newly acquired techniques.
